Dual Memebership Transition

Dear Valued FCSHRM Member:

As we prepare to transition to a Dual Membership (DMR) Chapter on Monday, April 14, 2025, we would like to share additional details on the benefits that will be available to our members once we transition to a DMR chapter.

1. Simplified Membership Renewal

• Moving forward, you will have one membership renewal instead of two.
• Your FCSHRM membership will align with your SHRM membership, ensuring both renew on the same date.
• You will receive one invoice and renewal notifications directly from SHRM, streamlining the process.

2. Expanded SHRM Benefits

• Resources:  Gain access to a comprehensive suite of tools, including HR templates, research materials, and industry reports. SHRM also offers on-demand webcasts that count toward recertification credits. Stay informed with legal updates, emerging HR trends, and insights into cutting-edge technologies like AI through SHRM’s regularly updated resources.
• Professional Development:  SHRM supports your career growth through certification and recertification programs, professional development courses, and access to the SHRM Knowledge Center, where certified HR professionals provide expert guidance on everyday HR challenges.  Additionally, the SHRM Foundation offers scholarships and grants to support continuing education. Members also gain access to exclusive events, conferences, and leadership development opportunities designed to enhance HR expertise.
• Networking:  As the largest global HR association, SHRM connects professionals worldwide through both online and in-person networking opportunities.  Members can participate in peer discussion groups, mentorship programs, and exclusive HR forums to share best practices and build meaningful professional relationships. In-person training programs and events offer valuable insights into industry trends while fostering connections with other HR professionals.
